A review does not need to become a report about your productivity. It can simply help you see what is complete, what is waiting, and what needs a clear next step.

Look at the places where work actually lives: a task list, a calendar, or a notebook. Identify anything important that has lost its context.

Finish by choosing a manageable next action. Leave the system clear enough to return to, without spending the whole available time maintaining it.

A small working example.

Consider reviewing only unfinished tasks, upcoming commitments, and one question from the week. A clear limit keeps the review from becoming a second project.

A note to keep beside it.

A tool can be pleasant and still create a costly dependency. Consider what you would keep if you moved the work somewhere else.
A few starting points
  1. Notice what is complete or waiting.
  2. Restore context to one unclear task.
  3. Choose a specific next action.
